ATX Free Fridge Project 🧊

This community-run network of free fridges across Austin operates on a “give what you can, take what you need” model. Anyone can drop off or pick up food, no sign-up needed.

🍎🥕Common donations include shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, labeled prepared meals, water, hygiene products, and snacks. Each fridge location has its own guidelines, so check the map before dropping off.

A 100% Volunteer-led Nonprofit helping improve the lives of anyone impacted by food insecurity through the free distribution of rescued and donated food.

You can volunteer or donate online, and they also accept shelf-stable goods, frozen items, and hygiene essentials.

Meals on Wheels Central Texas

Delivers hot, nutritious meals to seniors and homebound adults across Greater Austin.
You can donate funds, start a Meal Delivery Team, or volunteer as a driver.

Hope Food Pantry Austin

Provides free groceries to local families in need. You can donate online, via Venmo, or drop off food during pantry hours (Thursday, Friday, and the first Saturday of each month). Volunteers are also welcome to help sort and distribute food.

Caritas of Austin🏠

Caritas supports people experiencing homelessness through daily free community meals, housing assistance, and essential resources.

You can donate online or drop off non-perishables and household items directly at their downtown location.
